| Child labor working in small toy factory in May 25, 2005, Nanhai, Guangdong |
Child labor has many sides to it. To the companies who are child labor employers, they see this method as a less expensive way to make their product. They do not see anything wrong in this because they are in it for the money. If you look at the bottom of something in a store it almost always says "Made in China," but you don't actually know who made it. When a child picks up a toy in the store and it was made in china, as a parent, they need to imagine a bunch of kids being forced to work in these awful conditions barely being paid anything. Kids should be shouldn't be working, "People aged from ten to eighteen have limited capacity of civil conduct, and may only engage in civil activities appropriate to the age range and intellect. People under ten years old have no civil conduct capacity." Children shouldn't be working but if they do it should be doing work that is at their level. This issue might apply to parents more because it could be their children that this is happening to.
Multiple perspectives are shown in Persepolis because the story is told by a little girl going through the Iranian revolution. In the Iranian revolution people are forced to believe a certain way even if they do not want to. If they were to speak their mind they would get in trouble, they would be taken to jail and tortured. They were violating several human rights by doing this. Child labor in seen in many different perspectives just like how people view things in Persepolis.
